About the index
Marginalia
A place to find something you didn’t know to look for.
Marginalia takes its name from the notes readers leave in the margins of a book. Here, those notes connect videos: a lecture about zero leads to a word, a word to a question about empty space.
How the shelf works
The index opens in the curator’s order. Every video has a reason for being here, and every trail has a reason for its next stop. Use “Surprise me” to pick something you haven’t played, or narrow the shelf by subject or running time.

Publishers and cover art
Each watch page credits and links its original publisher. YouTube players load on request. Some covers are editorial illustrations; others are historical images or stills from the linked film.
